Mechanical Engineering CAD
Mechanical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) is the use of computer systems to assist in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of an engineering design. CAD software is used to increase the designer's productivity, improve design quality, communicate through documentation, and create a database for manufacturing.
The technical and engineering drawings and images must convey information such as materials, processes, dimensions and tolerances according to application-specific conventions. CAD may be used to design curves and figures in two-dimensional (2D) space or curves, surfaces and solids in three-dimensional (3D) space. CAD also produces computer animation for the special effects in advertising and technical manuals.
Digital Construction - BIM
Building information modeling (BIM) is a process involving the generation and management of digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of places. Building information models (BIMs) are files (often but not always in proprietary formats and containing proprietary data) which can be extracted, exchanged or networked to support decision-making regarding a building or other built asset.
Cloud Computing
Cloud computing is the on-demand delivery of compute power, database storage, applications, and other IT resources through a cloud services platform via the internet. Cloud computing provides a simple way to access servers, storage, databases and a broad set of application services over the Internet.
Digital Infrastructure Design
Modern, safe and adequate infrastructure is the backbone of functioning Societies around the world.
With an expected population growth from 7 to 10 billion people by 2050, 400.000 people moving to cities every day, globalization and climate change we are in an era of change.
The biggest challenges for countries around the world will be to maintain existing infrastructure and build new Infrastructure to support the globalization and modern ways of transportation emerge e.g. Autonomous Cars, Hyperloop. This supports the UN Strategic Development Goals SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities and 12 Responsible Production and Consumption.
IT Software Solutions for Business
Creating new systems and modifying existing ones to provide software solutions to large and small businesses. One of the areas of greatest demand in today’s business world is providing software solutions. This can involve creating completely new systems or modifying existing ones, working as part of the team responsible for analysis and design, construction, testing, and maintenance. This field changes rapidly making it essential to keep on top of the latest developments in the industry to best serve clients.
Cyber Security
Cybersecurity analysts help prevent attacks through their expertise and knowledge of databases, networks, hardware, firewalls and encryption. ... Cybersecurity analysts may also regulate access to computer files, develop firewalls, perform risk assessments and test data processing systems to verify security measures.
