Griffith College is Ireland's largest independent third level institution with locations in Dublin, Cork and Limerick established over 40 years ago. The College Offers internationally recognised QQI accredited postgraduate and undergraduate degree programmes, complemented by a wide range of professional, short term and corporate training educational solutions.
Griffith College has over 40 years experience of developing high quality curriculum and can offer apprentices an excellent third level experience through their campus support services in Dublin Cork and Limerick. The apprenticeship programmes that are in production are competency based and will integrate with the College Moodle LMS system for ease of use by apprentices and mentors.
The College are the coordinating provider working with consortium steering groups developing a HET level 6 Health Care Assistant Apprenticeship which it is hoped will be launched in September 2019 and a HET level 7 Bar Manager Apprenticeship to be launched in January 2020.
The College as coordinating provider works closely with the relevant consortium steering group from the industry sector to develop a high quality work based programme that benefits both the apprentice and their employer. Apprentices will be supported by their mentors, tutors and academic supervisors throughout their programme and will be able to avail of all the normal third level campus support services. Apprentices will acquire a life long skillset by participating in one of our programmes.
