Company Description
IT Carlow is an excellent educational provider in the South East of Ireland with over 8000 students, 800 staff and a campus in Carlow, Wexford and Wicklow.
IT Carlow provides apprenticeship programmes in Carpentry & Joinery, Instrumentation and Electrical Instrumentation. Also in development is a Level 6 Apprenticeship in Geo-drilling, commencing in 2019. IT Carlow has a long history of delivering apprenticeship and prides itself in providing an excellent service to its learners, the apprentices. The institute has a strong and active connection with industry and is a national specialist in Instrumentation.
Under the institutes submission in 2018, the faculty of engineering launched Athena Swan self-assessment team to tackle gender inequality. The institute was also awarded 'Excellence in Education Promotion Award 2019' for promoting engineering to women by Public Sector Business Magazine.
