Company Description
Education and Training Boards Ireland (ETBI) is the national representative body for Ireland's 16 Education and Training Boards (ETBs) and it is ETBI's role to protect, promote and enhance the interests of its member ETBs and of vocational education and training within the wider education sector in Ireland and in Europe.
ETBs are statutorily responsible for the provision of state-funded further education and training (FET) in Ireland, offering a different learning experience such as smaller class sizes on Post Leaving Cert (PLC) courses or learning on-the-job through apprenticeships and traineeships.
ETBs collectively deliver apprenticeship training for over 30 apprenticeship programmes, coordinating four of these prgoramees; Commis Chef, Autioneering and Property Services, OEM Engineering and Craft Butcher with more on the way.
