We have Metal Fabricator Apprenticeship and Heavy Vehicle Mechanics Apprenticeship on site.
Following the appointment of suitable apprentices they receive an induction to the Company. The structure of the placement is explained.
As the Apprentice progresses through their apprenticeship they are exposed to different elements/challenges of the work on site to ensure that they are fully prepared for the successful completion of their apprenticeship programme.

- Phase 1 - They are based in our Workshop where they are introduced to the line of work. Their progression is reviewed and assessed on a regular basis.
- Block Release - During this period the Company are in regular contact with the tutors for feedback on how the apprentice is performing to ensure that any weaknesses are identified. Murphy has a good working relationship with Solas, who provide regular revision sessions for an apprentice who requires extra tuition.
